Just be aware that you have to drive 1.1 miles on a narrow, curvy rock road with different size rocks, not all small. The falls are very had to see from the parking lot. It is a short, about 75 yard walk to a better...More

You can see the falls from the parking area so it doesn't require any hiking. This is a good thing because unless there has been a good heavy rain the falls are nothing to write home about. I love waterfalls and when we got there...More

Tittle is too true. The first time I climbed to the falls I slipped and fell. The Camp sites near by are a ways off the road and have a steep climb down in to the vale.

This is one of several waterfalls in the Pisgah National Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. Near the entrance to the Pisgah Education Center and Fish Hatchery, find an unpaved road marked FR 475B, also known as Headwaters Road. Take the unpaved road for 1.1 miles,...More

If you're looking to check off waterfalls, it's right there in the Pisgah. It's an easy hike, short, and you can often walk down to (behind) the fall. Not the prettiest, but nice.

This is up 475b in Pisgah national forest, on an old logging gravel road. Even after a lot of rain they are not much to see.
