We biked the 8.7 mile Mouse Branch trail, including the overlook loop. Trail was moderate difficulty, in great condition and well marked. Lots of scenic views of the lake and beautiful fall colors. Adequate information, maps and trail info at the parking lot and along the trail. Very enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend!

Have been to the area several times, primarily mountain biking at the four different trails at the recreation center, and kayaking the surrounding rivers and streams. Spent some time on the lake learning some kayaking basics, and learning to roll. The public campground is very nice, clean, and close to everything. There are many private campgrounds in the area.

Although the parking lot at Lemmon's Branch was by far the dirtiest of any I have seen while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, the views in any direction once you have launched are spectacular. Rocky outcroppings share the beach with red clay beaches that are easy to paddle up to for a break or to do some exploring.

I did the mouse loop. First time ever mountain biking. Went early in morning around 7:45-8:00 before got too hot. Trail started off wide and became about two feet wide after first two miles. I came past two bikers going in opposite direction about half way. Took me approx a hour 15 min doing the shorter loop and not the... More

Tsali features four single track mountain bike trails that wind along the cliff sides surrounding Fontana Lake. I biked the Mouse Loop the first day with a friend, including the Mouse Overlook Loop (all told, about 9.5 miles). This took several hours, and was exhausting (neither of us had ridden in a year, and never on mountain bike trails), but... More

I walked the right loop. It was about 10 miles. I never saw another person the entire time. There was a lot of nice scenery. You went up and down small hills, through the woods, and almost always along the water. The most beautiful place was the point farthest away from the trail head. I think it was called windy... More

Came here last year and had a blast, decided short notice to come back this year. Tsali is so much fun, plenty of climbs and downhills. Rode 45 miles in 4 days. Will be back next year!

I've mountain biked and hiked several of the trials and love them all. The trails are very well maintained.
