While vacationing in Bryson City my family and I decided to try Cooper Creek Trout Farm. Considering we are not fishermen, this was a great experience. They provide rods and bait and you don’t need a fishing permit. You fish and catch as many as...More

The pond is fed by the spring. Beautiful setting. When we got there, there was just one other family with two small kids. My 7yr old caught his first fish here - he got five and one was a whopper. Found out they also hatch...More

This place is about 3.5 miles up from 19. Kids had a blast, good fun for whole family. They give you the rods and worms and a net. From there the adventure begins. Have to keep what you catch. It’s easy to go nuts because...More

We decided to do this on a whim...just saw the signs on the highway. We knew nothing about the place or what to expect. The farm is very remote but follow the signs and it's easy to find. Once there it was a small and...More

We took the boys and their friends to catch some trout. They were easy to catch and they clean the catch for you for a fee. Clean flow through water and safe surronding, We all enjoyed them for Dinner .

They do not allow catch and release. I love this place but beware. 14 fish will cost about $120 all total. I recommend families just get 1 rod and take turns to make the experience last longer.
