Enjoyed the train ride itself and the service attendant. Nancy was terrific. I expected to see scenery of the Smokey Mountains but mostly what I saw were vines...lots of vines. Lunch was served and it was good. For salad there was only one choice of...More

We got on board at 10:00am and got back to Bryson City at 3:00pm. We rode in the Crown section. The first hour was fine; we enjoyed seeing Lake Fontana, although it's more of a river. The next 4 hours were filled with views of...More

We loved the train ride. We had a car that we had lunch served. The food could have been better but still not sorry we took the ride. Great view from our window by our table. The service excellent. A fun day!

They actually have you switch sides when they stop so you can see both sides. Definitely do the open car - great views!
