Stopped by here on a Wednesday evening (free admission after a certain time). Wow, what a delightful experience. An impressive variety of artistic mediums on display. A must see in Charlotte.

The Mint truly is an incredible asset in Charlotte, and the rotating exhibits offer something for nearly everyone. For those of you not as interested in the exhibits themselves, the Mint has an outstanding gift shop with ideas for those especially hard to buy for...More

I visited the museum for the 1st time 2y ago. It's very nice, not too big, but it really worth a couple of hours visit if you like contemporary and modern art.

Interesting collections, wide open spaces, nice staff. It's a museum, but they do their best to bring in interesting exhibits.

We spent an hour to view the American Art on the 9th November 2018. The entrance fee is $15 per person. For senior citizens, the fee is $10. There are oil paintings and sculptures made by the renowned and also lesser known artists. We enjoyed...More

Wished the Randolph location of the Mint Museum a few times over the years. First visit to the beautiful Uptown location. I loved the survey of American fine art, but it is in crafts that this museum really shines.

We attended a nicely catered wedding at the Mint. Great location for those kind of events. You can head off and see some of the art work at your leisure.

We visited after a FAB brunch at halcyon next door. Spent two hours wandering around. Tip? It’s cold in the medium (for the art apparently) so take layers

We were only able to see the Mint’s uptown location, so I don’t know how the collection fits in with the other site. I found it a little disjointed, with one floor of unfinished space holding a (?) student exhibit on tech/art, one large floor...More

This is one of my favorite places to visit. My family and I literally spend hours in here when we go. The Mint Museum has so many beautiful works of art, many are traditional and many are very modern. Their pieces are an eclectic mix....More

There's underground parking at the building next door (Levine Centre for the Arts) I believe the entrance to the parking is on W. Stonewall St. It's $3.00 per half hour during the day, $5 after 5pm.
