Freedom Park is a great spot in Charlotte to enjoy lush green space and time in nature. It was my son's favorite park when he was young and now we go as a family just to walk and spend time together in the sun.

The lake just makes it extra especial but you also have a walk next to the lake where we got to see the wild life in the area.

Freedom Park is a spectacular city park. It has excellent options for biking, walking, playing tennis, and working out. Love the Panthers-supported mini-playground area that is made for kids, but fun for adults. The park is absolutely beautiful. However, spray yourself down with mosquito repellent....More

It's located in our neighborhood at South Park. We walk and ride our bicycles around it often. Very nice!

This park is extremely well kept. It's beautiful, peaceful, serene and dog friendly. Whether you are sitting by the pond, walking your dog or just relaxing...this park is definitely worth exploring. It's a very safe neighborhood and I highly recommend.
