This is a really fun place with a great mix of a water park and an amusement park so it was easy to hit the rides until we were hot and then hit the water park to cool off.

Carowinds has so many rolller coasters to ride! We went for the grand opening of Fury 325.The highest peak is taller that the Statue of Liberty. What a thrill to ride. The front row is the best.

We really love Carowinds! The whole family can find something to do...the kiddie area is pretty exciting, even for adults, and the coasters are better each year. I find the parking to be a nightmare, and am not a fan of the incredible cost for a large family, so I knocked off one dot. Overall, not as much fun as... More

I haven't been to an amusement park in years so coming to Carowinds was a treat. We thought it was super unfortunate that it rained for probably the first 2 hours we were there. This actually turned out to be awesome for us! Instead of leaving like everyone else, we just sat down at one of the free shows on... More

Half the rides, including The Fury were down. A lot of other coasters were only running part of the time. If you don't have kids, don't waste your time here. We tried to be reasonable and reach out to the park through guest relations while there and email later. We basically got an "I'm sorry". I understand safety and am... More

The park has many rides to get on that will blow your mind. The children that has never been would enjoy the children rides. The adults will have more fun than they would imagine. Believe you me it is a lot of walking but also a lot of fun.

My husbands company had "family day" at Carowinds. We had a great time at the park. Definitely geared towards younger children, under 10, but there was enough big coasters/ attractions to keep us busy for about 2-3 hours. Most importantly, we rode the new FURY 325 roller coaster! It was awesome! Lines were quick and the ride was worth it's!... More
