Neat place.

A lot of history in the gift shop museum. Just wish the shops would have been open on Saturday. Would have loved to see them. All the trophies and cars were great to see.

Stopped in while traveling around to some of the race shops in the Charlotte area on a weekend. While they didn't have any actual shop tours on the weekend they do have a pretty extensive free museum and gift shop that we checked out. There's quite a bit to see up close and personal. This was a fun quick visit... More

It is a nice experience, you can see the shop, mechanics working, museum and gift shop. They sell bumpers and different used parts but it is really expensive.

Hendrick Motorsports Museum has a vast collection of Hendrick history beyond compare. A must see complex and well worth the visit.

Set up very nice. You tour the museum and then can easily walk or drive to the shops of the 88/48 and 24/5.

I was most impressed with the size of the Hendrick complex (beautiful grounds) and the memorial water fountain (very moving) than anything else. The water fountain is a memorial to the 10 Hendrick family members and friends who were killed in a plane crash on their way to the Martinsville race in 2004. We visited the two race shops (5/24... I have little interest in NASCAR racing and could not tell you what number car is anyone's. So I went through the place in about 45 minutes. Not an easy place to get to or around on foot. They have a big display of cars and trophies. I did not realize that Hendrick is huge in NASCAR and if there... More

If your in the Charlotte metro area and love NASCAR visit the Hendrix complex adjacent to Charlotte Motor Speedway. It and the rest of the race shops are a fun way too dig deeper into Stock Car racing.

We visited the garage of the 48 and 88 teams. You really couldn't see much of the garage area, which was a bit disappointing. The cases contained Jimmy Johnson's trophies, but not Junior's (at least as far as we could tell). Hendricks Museum and Gear Shop is on the same property. Everything that could possibly be imprinted with one of... More
