It's fun to go tubing, kayaking, and/or canoeing in the Catawba River... when the water level is high, of course. I don't go too often, but it's quite fun!

WOW. If you are considering a trip to Charlotte, this property is only 20 minutes away but it's in another world entirely. Keyword: River Rest Cabin, no incentive to share other than it is awesome and a very positive experience.

Week ago... I went tubing with family and friends on the Catawba River... We went through a company called the Twisted Beaver River Adventures... We were on the river for about 2.5 hours... It was a fun day for all!

We had a great time canoeing the Catawba from Belmont. The water was calm, but still had a swift current. The sun was hot, but plenty of sunscreen kept us from sunburn.. Take plenty of beverage and some snacks.. It is a very scenic area...

First off, there really is no "river" due to the dams at Lake Norman, Mountain Island Lake and Lake Wylie. The river is most river like north of the Riverbend area on Mountain Island Lake and south of the Mountain Island Lake dam. These areas,...More

We visited the Catawba Cultural Center in Rock Hill. The Center boasts gorgeous trails that lead right to the river which is often used by the Catawba people. The scenery was breathtaking and serene. I hated to leave. So beautiful.

It's a river. It doesn't have a street address. I would suggest looking at "Recreation on the River" section of the Catawba Riverkeeper website.
