Elizabeth, the head gardener, is so well informed and friendly! It was a real treasure to take a garden tour with her and see how much she truly cares about her work! Wonderful

If you like historical homes and want to learn more about one of Charlotte's old families, this place is for you. Guided tour, inexpensive, and pretty much right in the city.

We spent a nice day at Rosedale plantation. We took a very informative tour and wandered the flowering gardens. A nice place to visit if you have a little time in Charlotte.

We were there on a Tuesday so the home wasn't available for touring. The grounds were quite nice, though not really that extensive. Azaleas were in bloom and that was probably the highlight of the visit for me.
