We stopped in with friends and had a real nice time looking around! There are a lot of things that were made by the Cherokee Indians that are on display and for purchase.

Great first place to stop when visiting Cherokee. Lots of good information, with locals to share it. Love the deck overlooking the river. There was free popcorn when we went. Restrooms in good shape and clean.

Our first stop in Cherokee was the visitor center where we received helpful info (maps and referrals) by the ladies on duty; they also offered us coffee and/or popcorn. Conveniently located near the Cherokee Museum, etc.

Stopped in for information, was greeted upon entry by Cherokee lady who would addressed spoken needs but was unhelpful with my unspoken needs because I didn't know the questions to ask correctly. To purchase Unto these hills tickets "Two doors down" was actually 2 building down and several doors between.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the view from the back porch is awesome. Probably need a couple more people working there on the weekends and during peak travel times.

This facility has a few pamphlets and some info but there isn't much there. Not much in the way of displays or history and the staff can be a bit stand offish at times. We weren't too thrilled with the place but the bathrooms were clean.
