- Pete MDanvers, Massachusetts119 contributionsGood time in DurhamHonestly a really nice minor league ball park situated in a great downtown location. Parking was great compared to most parks I have been to. I loved how they had the Tobacco Road sports bar over looking the outfield. The seats were wide enough as in a bigger guy. The staff was accommodating. Just an all around fun time.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 April 2024
- Victoria BRaleigh, North Carolina1,688 contributionsFun Night at the BallparkMy husband frequently takes the kids to games, but I joined this time for a school night with my kids' school. The park is great! The bounce house play area at the top of the 1st base line is awesome. I'm thankful we ate before going in as they serve the standard ballpark fare. Of course ice cream was enjoyed! Fun night at the ballpark.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 9 August 2024
- Diane KWallingford, Pennsylvania1,300 contributionsFun summer eveningThe bulls games are fun and entertaining. Beautiful evening for baseball. Definitely bring hat and sunglasses if you are sitting in the outfield. Plenty of food choices and good draft beer. We had the raspberry vodka lemonade. Pricy drinks but that’s usual for these kind of places. Very family friendly! Definitely a fun evening!Visited August 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 17 August 2024

We had not been to a Bulls game in a few years and it was a total disappointment. First there was a “rain” delay for NO rain or thunder in the area. The food options were less than stellar, no venders up and down the aisles selling popcorn and beer. It certainly is not America’s favorite past time anymore.

Great trip! Fireworks on Saturday night were better than expected. Loved the snorting bull after a Bulls home run! Classic! Park is well-built and setting is really cool. This is a gem in downtown Durham! Highly recommend a trip if you like baseball.

Bringing baseball and history to life! The “bullpen” got its name right here! And Bull Durham was filmed here too. My son is lucky enough to play his college baseball games here. Go NCCU!

We sat in Section 216 for a 6:30 game. There's a funny thing about these seats - which maybe all the locals know. They face straight-forward, rather than conforming to the field of play. So, unless you contort your body in the direction of homeplate, you really feel removed from the action. Homeplate was way, way, way to the left of us. Very odd. We've been to a lot of minor league and major league ballparks and I've never experienced this. In addition, the sun reflecting off the netting made it nearly impossible to see the batter. After the sun went down we moved to Homerun Hill, which was wonderful. And the Saturday night fireworks were fantastic.

Went to a game on a Saturday night .The ballpark was very nice. We were able to park by the park. Great ballpark if you dont eat. The lines were very long to get food. So glad we ate before we arrived, Expect to pay top dollar for food and drinks. My advice is eat before you go into the park.

Such a thrill to see the Bulls. Great energy and food in the park and everything was affordable. Great selection of local brews and close to the action in all seats. Awesome

you should call & ask, but likely the milk will have to be in plastic bottles. I was with all adults.

Hello, do you still plays matches in September? Also, whats the Easiest way to buy one-off tickets to see a game?
Many thanks
Written 3 August 2019
The last game is Sept. 2. The cheapest way to purchase tickets is at the box office.

I didn't look to get any autographs, but there was a location where some of the players come out and give autographs not that sure for its specific location. An usher at the game will be able to give you that location

Coming from out of state for a game. What is the area around the stadium like? Safe, family friendly? Any good places to eat before going to the game?
Written 13 July 2019
The area is safe, yes. Just practice normal safety and you’re fine. Lots of places to eat. I just pulled up trip advisor and it had a ton of local spots. 🙂

Can you bring in an empty refillable water bottle to the game? We did last year but it appears that the rules have changed.

I can't speak to International League security measures but when I was there for the ACC, I think I carried in an empty bottle.

The slope is too steep I would recommend a blanket instead.
