A friend and I took our boys here over Christmas vacation. We expected that they would be able to climb (and belay) on their own, but there is only one auto-belay machine. Seeing that none of the other boys were old enough (or skilled enough!) to take the belay class, it left one dad to belay all the boys. While... More

Came here for a fun activity when my parents and preteen siblings were in town. None of us had ever climbed rock walls before. I opted in for the belay class (they offer two options... harness/rope to climb high = reqires belay class, no gear and climb low = no prerequisite. however, as a beginner I had no idea what... I went here when I was a kid and now I get to take my son there. We always love going and having fun. Something to get out of the house and the kids are playing and using muscles they would not use setting on the couch playing games.

Something different for the family. Neat facility, friendly staff, and safety is a top priority. Our boys loved climbing here.

The facility is amazing with lots of challenges for everyone. The staff were outstanding and super friendly. They took lots of time to explain the ropes to us with... More

I have visited climbing gyms all over the country and The Climbing Place in Fayetteville is outstanding! Most of the staff is nice and helpful. There was one, typical to these types of business, employee who walks around with a chip on her shoulder because she can perform a few acrobatic and climbing tricks. Personally, I was not impressed and... More

I've been coming here off and on for many years. It first started as training while I was in the military, but then I started bringing my family on weekends. Both of my young sons loved coming here and it would really wear them out! My wife and I would belay for them but we would also go bouldering along... More
