So glad that this place was randomly suggested to us. We walked along the dam and got to see the mountains from a different view. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed being able to walk out on the dike and through the woods. It would be a great area to take a dip in the lake to cool off.

This dam has been around since the 1930's and seems to be very effective for rural electrification and flood control. Keep up the great work!

We love walking path and space to play fetch with our dogs. We also have enjoyed a picnic lunch at one of the lake view tables. If you have a boat, its a good place to launch.

Took our family to get a nice walk in nature. The dam itself is quite impressive and the weather was beautiful, not too hot (July)

Walking 'The Dam' is a regular enjoyment for us. The is plenty of parking at the dam and at the boat ramp. On the dam side is also information about the dam and the TVA system. The whole trail of about 2 miles is paved...More
