The old jail which houses the museum was built back in 1912. The museum includes a Cherokee exhibit, an old time kitchen, Dr. Killian's 1940's era Doctor's office,feed sack exhibit, old jail cells and as of 2017 a Clay County African American exhibit plus a seasonal art exhibit.

Glad you enjoyed your visit to the museum. We do add new exhibits every year and we will have a new art exhibit this summer when we reopen in May.

Enjoyed the museum. Many displays about the Indian culture, town's history, and local artifacts. Found the personal photos the most interesting.
