Relatives visiting from CR wanted to pick their own apples. I was so glad they still had apples left because driving 2 hours from Charlotte and not find any would've been heart breaking. We were able to get plenty of golden delicious! Fun cutouts for photo ops.

Perfect day . The people that work here are very nice. Large area to pick all types of apples. Will go back again next year.

Decided to try new orchard and went to Stepp's! It is off the path of the other orchards but not hard to find and worth the extra minutes! The orchard had 3 different areas open to choose where to pick from. Which is great on weekend trips as it allows the crowds to spread out. We choose the furthest point... More

This was my 3rd visit here. I like the idea of coosing my apples from the trees. I know they are not last years if I get them off the tree myself. Eventhough they were busy everyone was helpful instructing us where to go to find what we were looking for. The kids loved being able to pick the apples.... More

We had never been to a apple patch, that's what our 3 year old granddaughter called it. Lucky for us that the Red Delicious were available because that is her favorite apple. We had a fun time and the kids enjoyed it. We had the apple cider donuts, oh my! In fact we went back a few days later to... More

Went there with the family. They have apples, apple cider, and apple donuts. Love going there to pick apples with the kids!

Had a great time picking apples today. The Apple fritters are awesome. Grandson loved shooting the Apple Canon. We made the drive from Lexington, S.C. and it was worth it. This farm is a little further from hwy26 but no complaints.

after hiking chimney rock all morning, my eight-year-old son and I ventured out to Stepp's farm for our first time apple picking. It is definitely an afternoon we will never forget. From the genuinely friendly "farm hands" who helped direct us, to the most delicious selection of apples and challengingly fun corn maze, Stepp's orchard is not to be missed!

My husband and I visited on a Sunday morning at the beginning of October. We had never been before but the staff was eager and happy to explain it all to us. It wasn't busy when we got there but traffic picked up as we left. We picked so many of our own apples, drank cider, ate donuts and got... More
