Local dairy in the country. They have their own cows and a small store that sells milk, chocolate milk, qt and half gallon ice cream. They sell dipped ice cream in cones or cups. Also have a some outside tables and some kid activities. Great place for kids to visit.

Homeland creamery makes their own ice cream on site & it is so delicious. You can eat there or grab a carton to go. They also have milk & cheese, both are fresh & yummy! We also enjoy petting the calves they usually have nearby. It's a fun little pit stop after school or anytime you're ready for ice cream!

I went with my sister to tour the farm and was so impressed with everything I saw! The group ranged from grandparents to young parents, to young children, and then my sister and I who are in our twenties - and it felt like everyone got a lot out of it. We did a hayride, learned about the cows, saw... More

This was a wonderful morning out on a cow farm. They give a tour for about $8 each and its worth it. Very educational and you can ask questions. The farm feel is quiet and peaceful for the milking cows. Theres a fun hay ride to tour some acres and see the cows. In the end you get a sweet... More

While traveling around N.C. last sunday, my husband and I came upon Homeland Creamery through Tripadvisor. Even though there are no tours on Sunday, one of the employees was nice enough to show us the calves and to tell us about the process of dairy cows birthing and removing babies a few days later so moms can get back to... We were all out riding our Motorcycles, and stumpled accross this jewel. The ice cream is real. It was nice to see the cows grazing in a natural setting and looking happy and healthly, Nice trip wild flowers were all in bloom.
