A very pleasant day outing...it doesn't wear you out, and keeps everyone's interest! The climb up the hill to the memorial is worth the effort, if only for the view.

The Visitor Center is under construction and the displays are minimal. It was hot and a lot of the displays outside. The Ranger talk was grea and very informative.

Don't miss visiting this Historical spot. You want to plan ahead as they have tours and it can be very hot. I would recommend going earlier in the day and getting an earlier tour. Our tour was in the hot sun at about 3 o'clock....More

The write bros site was remodeling when we were there and they still charged you an entry fee.it was pouring rain and not easy to get around I am some what handicapped so it was rough to get around.everything we saw was interesting

Make sure they stay on the walkways as much as possible. There were little cactus all over when we were there

Yes it is however recently oct 20, 2016 they will be closing the main building for 2 years to do a major renovation so the replica is at Raleigh nc temporarily until the major renovation is done. In the mean time they are... More
