This lake is lovely with wooden walkways over the water, paved paths all around the lake, geese, ducks, swans, and offers fishing. Many homes are for rent and you can have a view of the lake even if you're not lakeside. Swimming is allowed in-season and a pool is lakeside. Canoes/kayaks are available in-season. Many other activities available. This is... More

We stayed here for one night prior to the closing of our home near Lake Junaluska. The setting is magnificent,. There is plenty to do, from walking around the beautiful lake, to renting canoes or kayaks, to browsing in the bookstore or gift shop.

Although we were not staying at the conference center, we took the opportunity to walk around Lake Junaluska. It is a beautiful walk with nicely marked paths. Not hilly at all and almost every inch has a view of the lake. There are swans and geese on the lake and markers note historical events and events specific to the conference... More

To me and anyone else, business is business. I don't care if you have a personal emergency, but when you run a tight shift, it's a matter of giving the customer what he/she needs. I had scheduled to meet with a sales rep. I am so upset that she went out of her way to say, "we are incredibly short... More

Every time I come I feel at peace as soon as I come through the facilities. This is such a marvelous place! I have stayed in the different hotels and even in the youth cabins and have always had a great time. This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been!

Great facilities for a conference with many different accommodations including a modern hotel right across from the auditorium and a very quaint, beautiful hotel a short distance away both with restaurants. The scenery can't be beat with a beautiful lake with the mountains as a backdrop. The "rose walk" is lovely and a 2 1/2 mile (I believe) stroll around... More

Visiting the rose walk for an after dinner stroll was the highlight of my trip. The roses are amazing and i had to stop and take in the fragrance of each one. The lake and town are charming and beautiful!
