For National Park campground it's a National Park campground not much has changed since it was built in the 30's by CCC. It' nice but I perfer the Natioal Forest campgrounds (more room ) The sites for RV's are small and close no hook ups....More
The hike was very good at Doughton Park off the blue ridge parkway in North Carolina. The Mountain Bluff trail was moderate to strenuous with hiking across a pasture and mountain top. There was some steep climbs and descents. About 7 miles one way.
This is a place from my childhood and into my adult life. I love going here. Beautiful, relaxing and never regret going for the day. A good place to plan big family get together's and we can play ball or just sit and talk.
