Was afraid this would be lackluster, just playing off Childress' name. Was VERY pleasantly surprised! The server was terrific, and the wines were impressive. Unfortunately, my only disappointment was that they were out of the Sauvignon Blanc (my favorite wine); got a little taste, but...More

My wife and I enjoy coming here for the food, the view, and some of the wines. The merlot is what we generally get, with the delish burgers! It is a good experience- food is good, service is good, and the wines are decent.

We were in town visiting family and stayed at the hotel that overlooked the vineyard. We did the wine tasting, and though I'm not a big wine drinker, I enjoyed all of them. The tour was informative and the grounds were elegant.

Went to the Vineyard with friends. Wine tasting was OK but pours were very small. Vineyard is a pretty place, wine is just OK and the prices are expensive. We had a much better experience at Shelton winery.

We did the winery tour and on our way out ran into Richard Childress himself. He shook everyone’s hand and spoke to us for a bit answering a few questions. Nice guy. The tour was a look behind the scenes and we saw some things...More

You would be covered by a roof open on the sides. They do have sandwiches but limited, did notice some tables were reserved.
