Grandfather Golf & Country Club has loing held a special place as a private mountain resort. It is set in the valley between Grandfather Mountain and Linville Ridge and offers a spectacular natural setting of comfort and beauty. Course has great views in the mountains, is very difficult for greater than 20 HCP. Greens are slick and 3 or 4 putts are distinctly possible. Price was over $250/person. We enjoyed the course and pace of play was under 4 hours.
