My wife and I ride to Laurel Mill sometimes as a short motorcycle destination. It is a beautiful spot to stop and walk around for a minute.

Stopped by this place and took pictures. Was very beautiful. The gate was close so I couldn't get close to the actual mill but seeing from the road was worth it.

Got married there in 1979. Still married, thinking about a picnic there Sunday. Lovely place. It's worth searching for and finding it. Off the beaten path. Still misss Bill and Margaret Holmes, mill owner and keeper for years.

Beautiful place to visit. Historic area. A little off the beaten path so was confusing to locate. Private property so we did not cross into the no trespassing area.

When we are out back roading and see a road with "mill" in the name we always turn on it. We really love old mills and sometimes we are lucky enough to find one (that's how we found this). The mill is not opened to...More
