Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Began our hike at the Backcountry Information Center, near the Standing Indian Campground, Franklin, North Carolina on Fire Service Road 67. The hike started up well marked Kimsey Creek Trial to an Appalachian Trailhead at Deep Gap. We hiked North to Standing Indian Mountain. There are a number of campsites on the mountain and a shelter just prior to the summit. The hike up Kimsey Creek to the AT is 4.1 miles once on the AT it is another 2.4 miles. Return trail is the Lower Ridge Trail. This can work in to a great overnight hike. We actually hiked on to Albert Mountain and spent 2 nights on the trail, looping back to the Backcountry Information Center
