We passed this tower a couple of times before stopping, as I'd read the review that said it was closed. It was open, and certainly worth a visit. There's a gift shop stocked with the usual souvenirs, and the visit to the tower is 1USD,...More

I wanted to go up in the tower, but the place is closed and up for sale now. Sooo disappointed. These quirky little places are my favorite to visit. I'm sure it would've been an eventful stop.

50cents to walk up the tower -- well worth it for the view. The gift shop is a nice walk through as well. Saw a "for sale" sign on the place hope it stays because it is such a classic

Just on the side of Rt. 19 on the way up Soco sits a small, but noticeable tower. For small fee you can climb the stairs and look off into the nearby valley and see some of the nicest views.

This place sold a bunch of touristy stuff. However, it only cost $0.50 to climb the tower, so it didn't break the bank.

Very cheap tacky tourist hell! The view from the tower isn't as good as driving a couple more miles and using an overlook.

For just 50 cents each, we climbed up this 9 story tower to get the best view of the Carolina mountains in Maggie Valley. The autumn colors were breathtaking around the crevices in the mountains that were backlit by the sparkling sun. The craft shop...More
