Welcome to the "Lee Trevino" designed Linville Falls Golf Club. Originally designed to be a high-end private club, it is now open to the public. The course sits along the north fork of the Catawba River along beautiful Highway 221 just south of Linville Caverns, and approximately 16 miles north of Marion, North Carolina. Recently purchased by former Kiawah Island Head Golf Professional Jim Kelechi, the golf course is being refurbished and brought up to a standard not seen in the past. If you have not visited the course recently, you owe it to yourself to come and play. You won't be disappointed.

Friendly pro shop experience. Sad to see a half empty parking lot on a beautiful golf day. Pace of play was good, less than 4 hours. Following several days of heavy rain the course was open to carts except for 1 hole. Generous fairways followed...More

Decided to get in a quick round of golf and was pleasantly surprised. After playing four different Pinehurst area courses over Thanksgiving I have to say that this course was in as good, if not better condition. The fairways were clean and well kept and...More

My wife and I played the course in mid July 2017. The course was in good condition and greens were very receptive to good shots. Greens putted well and true. We thought the front nine was beautiful. Then we got to the back nine and...More

Played Linville Falls Golf Club last Friday (6/2/17). The course is very appealing from the road, but is even more impressive from the golf cart! Jim (the new owner) greeted me in the pro shop...very friendly and obviously passionate about golf and his new "project"....More

Recently I had the pleasure of playing this mountain course and was left in awe. The scenic beauty here is unparalleled, challenging holes, beautiful greens. Already planning to return.

Played here 2 years ago and we really liked it. Played here today and we loved it! The folks are all friendly (unlike some other area courses) and it is fun to play a different kind of golf from Florida. We will be back!

Greens were in great shape, but a good number of the fairways had brown areas, with dead grass or just dirt. Fairways are very narrow so if you don't hit it perfectly straight every shot, you'll be ball hunting like we were almost every hole....More
