Beautiful brewery and taproom. A little stuffy - bartenders were busy and seemed annoyed by beer style questions. Patrons were cliquish. A pair of young women at our table had a child with them and changed his poopy diaper on the floor, right at our...More

We visited the two breweries and the two taprooms in Morganton and this was our least favorite. The beers were so bizarre with what they were made from. I will say the place was drawing a big crowd of yuppie looking out of town people....More

Met friends here after a Morganton ghost walk. Web site cited a limited food menu, that is very limited, humus, cheese, pretzels etc, lesson learned.... knowledgeable bar tenders who made suggestions based on the types of beer we liked..... there was something for everyone in...More

Seasonal brews made with a lot of local ingredients... fruits and vegetables. Unique. Interesting. They support the arts, as well they should. The reason I gave 4 and not 5. They once had... upon opening, but I've not seen it since-- a barely filtered non-alcoholic...More

When it comes to imagination in craft brewing Fonta Flora takes a back seat to no one. They are a good reason to visit Morganton all by themselves but there is much more to see and taste so come and enjoy

Awesome little brewery. They really embody the craft in craft brewing. Tasty and unique offerings, but plenty of more typical offerings too. I enjoyed the Beet IPA and Dry Irish Stout. Was pleasantly surprised by both of the supremely different beers. I'm from Boulder CO...More

Beautiful corner building in downtown Morganton. Cool set up. We had a beet saison beer that was really good. We like good beers and we are not into flavored beers but after we tasted this beer it was worth a full glass!

I must stop place when in Morganton. I don't want to recommend any specific beers because it will change depending on when you go. The people that run this place know their beer. Atmosphere is very relaxing and the people serving will put you on...More
