My visiting friend wanted to see art in Morganton so we visited several. The Jailhouse Gallery has changing exhibits as well as wonderful art work in various mediums for purchase. We both found plenty to buy after viewing the exhibits.

Burke Arts Council is a great place to see many art shows and exhibits. They hold an Oyster Roast in October that attracts peoplke from 15 states.
