Overview
More
Old North State Winery started as a cooperative in 2002 and has since evolved into a winery owned by two families with one vision. Our vineyards were established on farms that have been in our families for generations. We hope you enjoy the culmination of our dreams, our devotion to our farmland, and our passion for our wines produced at Old North State Winery. Most of our wines start out as luscious wine grapes grown on Yadkin Valley North Carolina family farms. We are the Old North State Winery, Inc. located in Mount Airy, in the headwaters of the Yadkin Valley AVA. Wine, beer and fine foods are our passion and our legacy.

This place is really neat for a small town. They have awesome pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes. Lots of great southern cuisine. Nice and roomy also and in walking distance of all other downtown attractions.

I did fine with their gluten free flatbread. Then we went back and I ordered a gluten free sandwich, or so I thought. They must have made a mistake with the bread because I was deathly ill for two days. I called the manager in...More

Old North State has been a favorite for us for the past 5 years but about a year ago they got a new chef and made changes that we didn't like. Despite that, we've given it a chance and eaten there 3 or 4 times....More

The bartender aims to please and the food was very good. It looks like a clothing store from the front so don't be fooled.

Very classy decor, yet a casual feel. Our dinners were great and it met our hopes to find a special place for a birthday dinner.
