After lunch, while strolling through Murphy's historic downtown, we found Cherokee Cellars tasting room. As we love visiting local vineyards, we stopped in for a tasting. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised. The owner, Steve, is very knowledgeable of winemaking! Recommend them highly for delicious &...More

Thank you for your kind review. We work hard to find the best grapes in Georgia and North Carolina. So a lot of credit goes to our friends the farmers.

We live in Murphy and stopped by this location for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. Not very friendly for a business person and pushed his wine. Wine was average and fairly expensive! After spending $5.00 to taste the wine he was trying to...More

Not sure how to respond. We are seldom open on Sundays and never in January February or March. But yes our wines are more expensive than WalMart and range from $12.95 to $19.95.

The owners are personable and hard working. Wine was good so we added two bottles to our travels. Good stop with great folks.

Part of the charm of Murphy are its people. Every place you walk in there is a smiling face to greet you. This place is no different. For just five dollars you can have a tasting of the wines of your choosing including a variety...More

This winery is in town and not on a vineyard. You pick the 5 wines you want to try and mark them off on a plastic menu with a magic marker. Tasting fee is $5.00. You do not keep the glass. Wine is very good!
