While staying next door came here every evening. Very entertaining to watch fishermen and talk to them about what fish are biting.

Older of the piers, but they have made some improvements. For a couple of bucks you take a leisurely walk on the pier, watch the ocean and check out the days catches.Always some fishermen some good and some novices on vacation, but a good time for all.

Wonderful visit, a great place. You can't get out over the water except at a couple places on OBX. We recommend this pier.

Mostly blue fish, spot, Spanish mackerel, puppy drum and sea mullet. All depending on the season of course. Best months May through October. Danny Monahan
