We did the Santa train. It was awesome, but very cold so dress appropriately because the cars are open air. We will definitely go back, and maybe volunteer.

This is one of those train events that you could pay a lot for somewhere else (especially around Christmas) and get a slightly more polished outing. Or you can come here, for a fun, happy, experience. Staffed by volunteers who are also (I'm guessing) train nerds, this is a fun time, and well worth the 30 minutes or so drive... More

We went on the Halloween train trip on the New Hope Valley Rail Road with our 2 year old gran-daughter.Plenty of free parking nearby to which we were directed by the volunteer train enthusiasts who also marshal the train station and operate a large model train track outside the station with several models of different sizes running on it.The Halloween... Hoaky, inexpensive, and a blast for the kids. About an hour train ride. Perfect for the kids to enjoy. The Halloween train rides are a lot of fun, with costumes and other things. Very reasonably priced. No food they are per se, but they do have little tense with ice cream, hot dogs, fried foods, and that kind of stuff.... More

We attended the 'Brew and choo" event held recently. It was a little on the pricey side ($37 for two adults and two children under 3). This included access to the museum and a one hour train ride, consisting of 30 mins in one direction being pulled by a diesal engine and the return journey the carriages are pulled by... More

This is an upcoming outstanding Railroad museum. Have a small park, but well worth visiting. A must to see.

My 12, 10 & 5 y/o loved this hour long special Halloween ride! We visited the food trucks, model train village, train store & museum all before the open car ride. Chugging along beautiful fall foliage were staged scenes of ghosts, vampires, witches & haunted steam engine trains. Great venue for costumes & lights.

It's a small railroad located in the middle of no where with unremarkable scenery and very few thrills. But just how many places can you take a brief train ride pulled by a steam engine these days. The staff was very friendly and the many small children seemed thrilled for the experience.
