It's a cemetery. The unusual part is the British maintenance of a small portion. If you enjoy stopping at cemeteries, this is a small easily accessible one.

So we drove out to see cemetery. It is about 15/20 grave sites . It is all fenced in and protected . Again history here is deep and rich but does not take very long to see.

It was neat to visit the British cemetary, but there is not a lot to see. It should be a quick stop.

We walked from our BnB over to the British Cemetery just to check it out. It's small, but so meaningful, especially for those that find this their final resting place.

It's a very serene place and well kept. Close to the main drag of the island. We like to visit when were on island just wandering around.

Excellant maintained cemetary by locals and UK. British sailors buried here from WWII ship sunk off US coast by German Submarine.

If you visit the island, this is definitely a quick stop you have to make to pay respects to the British sailors that died off the coast.

There is a "virtual geocache" located in the British Cemetery. That's what brought us here. Interesting history about why this place is named the British Cemetery. Well kept grounds. Worth a visit.

Slightly Off the beaten path. Buried British soldiers killed from German U boat torpedo in 1942. Glad we went by. Audio info on AM channel. Liked better than the lighthouse
