Really convenient activity on a Sunday for Father's Day, when other "Father's Day Weekend" activities were actually held on Saturday. Safe walkways, lovely gardens in naturalistic surroundings. Disappointed that the fountains weren't on--not sure if this is a Sunday thing, or what. There were some...More

It is just wonderful to amble along the trails and see where they lead. The gardens are maintained and designed by the students at Sandhills Community College as part of their studies in the horticultural program. Of course, each season has focal points of interest.

In season the Gardens are magnificent and free to the public. A relaxing walk through a beautiful peaceful setting. Highly recommend a stop at the Gardens with things are blooming. Magnolias, dogwoods, azeleas, and many, many other floral, bush and trees to observe and enjoy.

If you enjoy outdoors and gardens, there is something for you everyday here. The walk is quiet and peace-filled, but educational, since you enter into different garden types as you go. The ideas for introducing the plantings in your own home garden are endless. Wetlands,...More

Very nice walk through the rather large landscape of trees, plants and flowers. The Sandhills Community College staff and students do a fine job of maintaining this gem. Definitely visit and camera worthy.
