Gorgeous lake - clear, clean water. Lots of places to swim, canoe, kayak or paddle board. Very little boat traffic.

“Don’t go here” !! Only kidding but I really don’t want everyone to discover this beautiful gem. Uncrowned, quiet, undeveloped. No fancy theme parks, water slides , bars (its a dry county) or much to do but enjoy nature’s best.

Undoubtedly a beautiful lake, keep in mind it is a man made lake and cannot ever rival Lake Tahoe for sheer beauty. Like Tahoe, the water is very chilly. It is a bit of a hidden gem, off the beaten path.

Amazing views of mountains while enjoying nice crisp water to swim in. There are picnic tables to eat lunch, and rocks to jump into the water from.

This lake is absolutely stunning! We went swimming at the beach area. We also found a nice place to fish off the bank.

While riding in the area from Ohio I stopped at the lake. Took the time to get off the bike and relax and take in the beauty.

Yes, the lake is crystal clear and you can see 10feet down without any help. I think it would be a great adventure.
