I really like visiting this temple, it's centrally located in Shunde and is near Shunfengshan Park which is an absolute treasure. If you go to Shunde put this on your to-do list!

The monks were chanting when I was there and they can be heard over the loud speakers. That created a wonderful atmosphere. The buildings are beautiful and they are alright with picture taking in the temples. I loved that it was perched high enough to overlook the city yet surrounded by green. Good view of the goddess of Mercy on... More

The main pavilion sits against the moutain. As you ascend the steps, you will see a temple gate flanked by two giant, ferocious guardians.

One of the best places to visit in Foshan. Too many steps but it's worth. Beautiful scenery. Although you need to climb a lot of steps and better to get ready for it and choose a nice weather.

If you are in the area is definitely worth the visit. It is quite a big attraction and consider there is a lot of steps up to the top, however it is worth to see all of the temples on the way. Also, the scenics views from the top are really great,

If you want to catch the melting cauldron of what China really is, go there on the New Year day. People will be there by the hordes. Quite enjoyable catching in the sights and sounds. I had another occasion to visit this place on a regular day. As usual, it was calm, peaceful, serene and most important, green. Smack in... More

Baoling Temple There were more than 400 steps; more like 420, not so bad steps up to the top of the temple. Like most of these places there is a road, but not for visitors. The temple itself is okay, not as rugged and unique as many in Yunnan and other areas. It was situated near a large community park/lake.... More
