The palace that can be seen right now is the latest version, which has been rebuilt obove the old palace. But even its latest rebuilt is still old and majestic. The whole area around the palace is also nicely preserved. Worth a visit!

A lovely site, easy to get around. Is a smaller version of the "Peoples palace" or Forbidden City in Beijing. Lovely gardens. A lovely lake to take a boat ride.

Skip this if you don't have very much time. Especially so if you have been to the Forbidden Palace. The exterior looks better than the interior. View from the top is nothing to shout about too.

Garden with lakes on both sides, beautiful flowers along the pathway that led to the palace building. All the buildings were rebuilt and missing the authenticity.

Dragon Pavilion Park, as whole Kaifeng, is beautiful. You can find there everything: a lake, historical buildings, green areas. Really worth visiting.

It's a big and good-looking park in the middle of town. Lots of people taking pictures in front of the park entrance. You could save the 60 or 70 rmb fee by walking along the outside of the park to get an idea of it...More
