Oasis of peace & silence

Very nice gardens being not far from the crowdy beaches. Very nice garden architecture, maintained carefully. Good place to take rest.

Never found the place. Poor directions with the so called signs, plus walking through ghostly building sites is no fun. Whole area looks abandoned with swimming pools full of dirt and scaffolding falling apart. Felt like the start of a Stephen King book.

I know it was the time of year but it was very green no flowers etc. i did like the statues and took pictures but i won't post them you have to go see them yourself. Oh and the Houses are private property you cant see them so 1 hour is enough to be there.

This garden was beautiful, don't get me wrong. It had that look that reminded me of the movie Secret Garden, or like one of the gardens you imagine the wealthy in the Victorian-era had. A lovely way to spend an hour or two on a sunny November afternoon. We had the place to ourselves and were astonished at the created vistas. The gardens are immaculately maintained, and give stunning views in all directions.

If you like gardens go and see trees from all over the world. Please note a lot of steps, could be a struggle for older members.
