There is nothing quite as beautiful as the North Devon area. It's described as an area of natural outstanding beauty. But you have to see it for yourself to experience the emotional and spiritual connections..

Didn't have great weather but it didn't deter us having a lovely time. Plenty of places to visit and the beaches are splendid. Very dog friendly and great coastlines. Would have been fantastic if the sun had been shining. Will definitely be coming back. Something...More

Truly stunning in all weathers. Don’t just sit in your accommodation on a wet day go and explore. Sometimes think it’s better when it rains!!!

Croyde is such a lovely area one of my favourites ever. The beach is great, clean and sandy and the coastline is stunning. You can walk from Croyde around the headland over to Putsborough. Great views.

North Devon's AONB coastal area is varied and engrossing. We relished stops like Croyde with dramatic views of cliffs and coastline, Whitcombe Bay, Putsborough to Woolacombe's award winner beach, little charming Mortahoe, Victorian Ilfracombe. The variety in scope and range is amazing. We also drove...More

We enjoyed this walk. It includes views over 2 bays looking towards woolacombe and bideford. It was not too challenging and well worth doing. Would not recommend for young children as could be dangerous in places

We completed a short stretch from Minehead to Braunton, This is genuinely a stunning coastal route, sometimes in trees, sometimes exposed round headlands but gorgeous. Lots of up and down but good under foot. Valley of Rocks was lovely and the sea views are amazing....More

Would recommend North Devon to everyone, just beautiful wherever you choose to go, Woolacombe, exmoor, Lynton/Lynmouth walk to Watersmeet, Saunton, Braunton and Ilfracombe. Although our favourite was spending the evenings/nights watching the sunsets down at Croyde beach and the moon then rise above the hills....More
