Well worth the trip to have this pristine and beautiful location to ourselves. As 4WD novices it was an easy enough drive for us. Stopped at the lookout which was lovely and then at bustard beach. Recommend this drive if u have a 4WD!

I had been wanting to visit the park. We had done the wonderful LARC trip up the coast on a prior visit and was keen to access the park by road. Read all the reviews and park information online and became concerned that our vehicle was not appropriate. Am driving an Hyundai Tucson turbo diesel : can run as 4WD... More

This is a great place for the whole family with fishing, snorkelling, swimming, kayaking and nature walks. We have seen turtles, birds and lots more. There is basic camping (NATIONAL PARK CAMSITES). It is clean and beautiful.

We did the fabulous all day adventure on the LARC. Sight seeing, swimming, sand boarding, an abundance of wild life, lunch, the most spectacular views and a history lesson thrown in. For my 14 year old to say how much he enjoyed learning about the area and the history, really says something. This was well worth the investment. I would... More

Great place to take the kids camping, fishing and boating. Toilets available but no showers so if staying long will have to bring your own. Great chance to see Dolphins, turtles, sting rays in their natural environment.

Well worth checking out. You get high enough to get some really good views of the ocean and the beautiful landscape (coloured rock formations) on the shore line.

You should drive carefully, you can come across long gravel tracks that other users tear along without a care to you coming along the other direction. SO TAKE CARE. There are tracks that shoot off to other camping areas, so check which direction you want to head to, basically just keep steering right and stay away from the left off... More

Lovely beach after a short 4 WD trip into the park. Good fishing. Unfortunately some broken glass and empty beer cans around beach/ camping area.
