A lovely place to take overseas visitors for a picnic and to also view some wonderful sculptures. Tables & seating overlook the water, facilities are clean and a very shady kids playground also overlooking the water.

This is a nice place to visit but does need more covered areas - especially when it is a busy time such as long weekends.

Well signed making it easy to get there from Beaudesert and a good road suitable even if towing a van. Nothing is available for purchase so with our packed lunches we found a vacant picnic hut and watched the rowing event which happen to be...More

Its a nice place to visit as the lake view was beautiful. You can click some nice landscapes. There is a sculpture park as well which have some interesting stuff. The park is well maintained with clean BBQ area.

Such a beautifull place for picnics kayaking walking running bike riding and mountain biking great playgrounds and amenites some days you can watch rowing teams practise or race or just be peacefull and check out the great veiws

Yes. The day of our visit there was a rowing competition in progress in a closed off area but there were many visitors outside of this area with their kayaks having a lovely time.

Hi Louis - sorry I only just saw your question - hope it is not too late for your needs - unfortunately SEQwater who manage the site for water supply/water quality and wildlife do not allow dogs in the area. Andy

Not all of the mountain bike trails are suitable for walking, but there are designated hiking tracks as well as tracks for both walking and cycling. You can hike on the majority of the trails. I think the trails range from 1... More
