Well intentioned guide who knew a lot about the town. His presentation of the town and the mine’s history was voluminous and uninspiring, without any particular theme or chronology that newcomers could easily follow.

I've volunteered for bus tours at the gold/copper mine at home (circa 1850's , intermitted to present , Orange N.S.W.) and I cannot hold a candle to this gentleman I hope he can document all that knowledge for his protégé Yours truly Melissa & Greg

Fabulous mini bus tour around historic Mt Morgan and Gold Mine. John was a fantastic guide. So helpful and informative. Knew all the answers to questions! A real must do sight seeing near Rockhampton. Amazing history and tour around the town.

Great overview of the history of Mount Morgan and the gold mine. Very informative and enthusiastic. Would love to see the mine open again and some of the old buildings and equipment preserved.

The tours run at 10am and 1pm. It is a good idea to ring to check if there are seats available, as sometimes the University books the whole bus.
