Huge freshwater lake with white sand, truly beautiful. Not much sand though so id say get in early to get a spot. No lifesavers patrolling this lake though so be careful. Would be beautiful to camp at. The scenery was amazing!
Brown Lake definitely says it all. The lake is quite small and the water is brown but surprisingly clean. Great place to spend the day with the family while enjoying the water.

We got there on high recommendation with not a whale to be seen...we were also warned about brown snakes but thankfully did not see any. However be warned about walking around the lake... technically you can’t unless you are happy to divert via the golf...More
Brown Lake is easily accessible by car - the dirt road at the end is well graded but dusty. There is plenty of parking and toilets (long drop eco toilets) are clean and acceptable though not luxurious.
