The Barossa Farmers Market: real food from the homes and farms of the Barossa Valley. We are a food-only traditional farmers market which operates every Saturday morning from 7.30am - 11.30am in the undercover Vintners Sheds, Angaston. Our producers sell a beautiful array of fresh fruit and vegetables (many of them organic), ethically raised meats, smallgoods, baked goods, fresh seafood, olive oils, vin cotto, confectionery, jams and preserves, teas and locally roasted coffee. We also have a breakfast bar, selling fresh egg and bacon rolls, fresh coffee, children meals, vegetarian and vegan options. Stock up on your fresh produce, buy a sweet treat and enjoy a delicious breakfast and coffee with friends. We look forward to showing you the best of the Barossa's food scene soon,

We went to get breakfast and left with quality fruit, smoked meat, cheese. Had a great coffee and a enjoyable morning. Get there early to avoid disappointment as the food sold quickly. A good local farmers market, well run with quality products. Breakfast was very yummy. Try the omelette....

We love going to the Barossa Farmers Market to stock up on South Australian dried peaches, pears and apriciots. There are also many kinds of German style bacons and mettwursts and free range meats on sale. Fresh fruit and vegetables are wonderful as are the sweets, coffee and breakfast. There is something for everyone at this great market that has... More

I go about once per month. This is a fantastic addition to any tourists itinerary. And as a local I still love going and sampling local delicacies and coming home with lots of great produce. Highly recommended to see the authentic barossa.

Very disappointed, it's closed! We planned our trip to leave on Sat 31st Dec with our last stop at the market before heading back to Melbourne. The reason that I'm giving a poor review isn't because it's closed. It's because there has been no effort made to let people know that it's closed. We weren't the only people driving round... More

Everything sold here has to come from the person selling. They cook their own. You can taste at almost every stall, and this ensures top quality and value for money. Food to eat there as well. Lots of parking even if you have to walk a bit. Time on TripAdvisor incorrect. 7.30 to 11.30am. Don't miss this. On Saturday mornings.

Visited mid morning on a Saturday and greeted with pretty big crowds. A great range of fruit and veggies on sale out the front - my six year old particularly recommends the carrots! Inside are a couple of coffee/breakfast joints, one of which does a great bacon and egg burger which only took a couple of minutes to prepare fresh... More

On visiting the area we were advised to go early to escape the groups. So up bright and early on a cold and wet morning and arrived around 8.30am and even then the place was buzzing with people. Wonderful place so much to see, taste and buy at really good prices. Could not get over the size of the sample... More
