Penfolds- the most famous Australian wine brand. Was expecting a lot more. The tasting room was quite small. The quality of wine was obviously very good. No great bargins.

One of the most established names in the area I wasn’t surprised at the quality of the ‘cellar door’ experience. Renovations going on in the building provide a hint of more to come. Budget did not extend to a bottle of Grange unfortunately but was...More

Overall my partner and I had a good experience at Penfolds, although we agree with other reviews on TripAdvisor, the staff seemed disinterested, they pour your wine then walk away with minimal explaining and almost nil service. However we were very lucky to have met...More

Group of 4, 1 non drinker(driver) 1 red 1 white drinker and 1 fortified drinker, had to pay for tasting $10 but they allowed us to share between 3 of us. Wines did not suit any of our tastes but staff were friendly.

Over crowded, over priced, very impersonal. Would recommend skipping for one of the more boutique cellar doors

After this experience couldn’t resist sending four assorted bottles of wine, one vintage fortified and one bottle of 20 year old Tawny Port home! Loved every wine, even dared to write down in our notes to serve “Koonunga Hill 76” at my funeral! Staff member...More
