A visit to Robe must include the obelisk because of its position on the edge of cut away cliffs and caves. Especially at sunset the light on the cliffs is amazing.

The Obelisk is a well known landmark in Robe. There are lookouts and a couple of easy walks which make the most of the rugged coast line. Stunning sunsets alone make it worth a visit.

If in Robe it is worth the time to stop at Cape Dombey Obelisk. Few good spots for picture at the location.

Enjoyed our visit to the obelisk. Spectacular view of the coast and rock formations in and around the obelisk. Definitely worth a visit when in Robe, and is quite an iconic piece of the town's history. Plenty of photo opportunities.

It's worth a visit to see the views and the southern ocean waves pounding the rocks but the area around the obelisk is fenced off as the sea takes it toll on the rocks and building so it's unsafe.

Interestring but not much to see. There is no display or explanation, just a fended off area where the obelisk is located. The surrounding cliff tops present a good view of the rought sea and crashing waves

Visit the obelisk and the ruined gaol walk around some spectacular coastline stop and watch the birds and the sea from one of the many seats. Beautiful

This is an interesting land site. We sat out at sunset in winter to look over the Obelisk and sea with a red wine in hand. Beautiful
