Langmeil Winery offers guests a relaxing friendly place to visit. The gardens are beautiful and child friendly. Ample tables and chairs to enjoy some yummy wines with a cheese platter of local produce (or take it with you) from the lovely staff at Cellar Door. Special premium wine tastings for $50 a person (bookings essential) in the Freedom Cellar and if the weather permits a vineyard tour also, showcasing old gnarly Shiraz vines believed to be the oldest in the world. The old Blacksmiths workshop and stables speak the history of ye ole Langmeil Village - one of the first settlements in the Barossa. There is something for everyone at Langmeil Winery.

Our second visit to this cellar door for wine tasting. The first visit was excellent as we visited during the week and while it was busy the team accommodated well. Second visit was on the weekend and they had a few tour groups at the same time we were there with a very small tour. Staff were really busy and... More

I have to say this is one of my favourite wineries. We were lucky with 8 of us on a tour that we had the private room with personalised attention. I can't fault it.... And yes, brought more wines home.

Lovely heritage to the buildings at Langmeil Winery... worth the trip just to see these. The wine tasting we did was great.

Langmeil winery was stunning, walking through the vineyards from Peter Lehman to Langmeil was just stunning! We visited so many wineries on our travels but what really stood out was Tracy who served us for our tastings. Her knowledge, expertise and great wordly chats was honestly the highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend anyone to ask for Tracy... More

Loved it here!! Th grounds are very pretty. We came for just a short visit and it was so nice to be greeted by friendly staff. Just as we arrived, a coach load of people came in but that didn't stop the staff from making sure everyone was happy and still giving detailed explanations and recommendations about their stock. We... More

Pulled into the carpark and was welcomed by a group setting up for a long lunch under the trees in the garden - was jealous already! Wandered up the driveway - past all the old buildings which have been turned into function rooms - an amazing vibe. Then we met Lisa in the tasting room - what a character. Probably... More

My partner and I were taken on a wine tasting tour by the extremely knowledgeable and friendly Jonathon. We enjoyed the tour so much and learned a great deal about wine! We now have a great deal of appreciation for the art of wine making. Most importantly, we had the opportunity to taste so many wines! The wines (from the... More

A lovely setting with historical buildings and the oldest shiraz vines in the word. The person providing our wine tastings must have been having a bad day as she was disinterested and spent most of her time talking to a tour guide.
