Kabminye Wines has reopened at 179 Krondorf Road, Krondorf, on the outskirts of Tanunda. We are open nearly every Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm, and other days by appointment only, unless we have the sign out on the road. Please feel free to contact us by phone or email if you would like to make a booking or to purchase wine. The cellar door is in the western verandah of our house, and Rick is looking forward to talking to you about the wines he has made.

Thank you for your review! You've hit the nail on the head; small winery (very), actual winemaker on hand, and great wine.Thank you for helping us get it out there. More

We were invited to join 2 local Barossa Valley couples to visit this winery on a day the cellar door was not normally open. Turns out they were friends of the owner/winemaker. Quite a character and he makes a wide variety of wines including some lesser-known varietals. He also makes a number of dessert wines he called "stickies" which we... More

I discovered Kabminye on a day trip with friends that live locally near Gawler several years ago. I bought several boxes of wine and had them shipped home to Qld. If I ever get back to SA I will definitely visit Kabminye, and I hope to try their menu as well. I've just received another order from them, and the... More

Thank you for your review from a few years ago now! I thought you might like to know we have moved to 179 Krondorf road and are open Saturdays and other days by appointment. I noticed you were hoping to try the food; sadly we have not reopened the cafe at this stage. More

We visited this winery on a day trip with Bums on Seats and what a great choice it was. There are lot's of wineries in the Barossa but this was so much better than going to a large company. We met the owners Richard and Ingrid and their son in law Craig and we were able to talk them and... More

What to say... The food was awesome, good choices, good portions. The restaurant must have the best view of the valley, you feel like you are sitting in the middle of a vineyard... The wines are interesting, they are making a few rarer styles. There is also a small art gallery upstairs.

On the recommendation of our B&B guests from Adelaide we visited Richard and Ingrid's place in Tanunda. Unfortunately our visit to the Barossa Wine Valley lasted only 2 days, but we didn't waste time coming back to this outstanding winery and cafe on our second day. Wish we could come 3-4 times a week like the previous reviewer. Food and... More

We went here for lunch and a tasting while on a wine tour. By this stage we were all starting to get on the slighlty tipsy side so its a good thing lunch (and a tasting) were next. Now the veiw from this place is amazing. Its all glass looking out over the surrounding area. Its a very new winery... More
