Have been to Wallaroo Museum on a couple of occasions & appreciate the displays as I have a few generations of my family that have lived in Wallaroo.Would recommend the Museum to all to review the history of Wallaroo.

I have taken my class of 11-12 year olds to the museum on numerous occasions. Whilst the displays (and squid) are rather dated, the kids yield to the enthusiastic and informative people that patiently guide us around.
The museum was set up in 1975 and it still has the quaintness of that time. The older building was the old post office and the front room has an interesting display of old postal equipment. Lots of information about the various objects on display....More
