Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We took a tour organised by SeaLink to the Barossa, and this was our first "port of call".
What a great start to a trip. There were stories about each of the wines we sampled, keeping our full attention for the entire time. Lovely people at the winery too.

We visited TeAro Estate as part of a Barossa Valley Wine Tour, where we were introduced to several wines by the lovely Alicia. She was very knowledgeable and did a great job showcasing the wines and I liked how each of TeAro’s wines had a family story behind it. Our favorites were Miss Savvy and Pruner’s Reward. We even joined the Two Charlie’s Club and made purchases to be delivered to our house so we didn’t have to travel with it home on the plane. Would recommend this great winery!

Probably the best and friendliest welcome you will have in the Barossa. They have some wonderful gifts and the food platters are extremely good. There is a beautiful courtyard where you can grab a drink and eat some wonderful fare. A real surprise and some beautiful wines. Don't leave without trying the Tempranillo!

I recently visited TeAro on a private winery tour with Getaways SA and had an amazing time! The host was great and very informative. Each wine had a story, and was matched with a postcard (so unique!). The food platter was delicious, and was the perfect amount of food! Absolutely loved it- highly recommended!

The wine pourer/aerator they sell here is fantastic. Make sure you try their Pump Jack Shiraz twice.. once with the pourer and once without. Well worth the $29.
The wines were fantastic. We walked away with the Pump Jack and the GSM.
As is tending to be the case with our Barossa tour (with the wonderful John from Getaway SA), the most memorable component of the tasting was Norm. Married I to the family run business and a great ambassador for The Aro.
PS... Definitely do the lunch platter for 2. The duck liver pate is incredible, as is the apple berry compote.

This lovely family owned winery really set the benchmark for other wineries that we visited.
Delightful wines that all had family stories to accompany them. James was a perfect host and spoke with great passion for the wines. It really is a "must visit" winery with great staff and beautiful wines! Thank you!

On Saturday 23rd January the last stop of my wine tour was TeAro Estate. What a way to end the day. Quite simply my favourite stop of the day! Our host Kellie was lovely! Very knowledgable and helpful and I loved hearing all the stories behind the naming of the wines, what a lovely tradition! I will definitley be ordering from TeAro very soon!
